Selim Turan (June 9, 1915, Istanbul - October 13, 1994, Paris) was a Turkish painter and sculptor of Azerbaijani descent. He studied at Istanbul Fine Arts Academy and co-founded the "Yeniler Group" with Abidin Dino in 1941. In 1947, he received a French government scholarship and settled in Paris, where he taught at academies and created marble sculptures. Initially working on impressionistic and cubist landscapes, he later turned to abstraction. Turan's diverse works include murals, ceramics, mosaics, and mobile sculptures. In 1993, one of his mobile sculptures was installed in Kurtuluş Park in Ankara. He contributed to the establishment of an ethnography gallery in Türkmen Tahtakuşlar village, Edremit.
